2010-04 Indian Mackerel swarm Egypt/Red Sea Marsa Alam

If Indian Mackerels are cruising without opening their mouths it is nice, BUT if they start collectively to open their mouth then its looks fine. Normally you will meet these guys at the upper part of the reef.

2009-2010 Napoleon fish Egypt/Red Sea different locations

Napoleon (not Bonaparte!) fishes are sometimes very huge and always peaceful. If they are trusting they come very close to examine you. Shoots were made at Daedalus reef and Shab Claude reef.

2010 Titan trigger Egypt/Red Sea different locations

People may think that sharks are dangerous. We met a lot of them..without being attacked. The Titan trigger instead is really dangerous because the likelihood of encounter while reef diving is great…Especially if this guy is building a nest, than he/she is very aggressive. In case of attack we swam away but sometimes we need our fins to protect ourselves.

2010-04 Aida Wreck Brother Islands Egypt/Red Sea

We invite you all to follow us to experience in a very relax way this wonderful wreck. It begins in 10m depth and ends in over 60m depth albeit the interesting spots are deeper than 25m depth. So, double tanks are convenient. The Aida sunk on 15.09.1957. You will find a amazing natural cover with different kinds of soft- and hard corals.

2010-04 Silk sharks Egypt/Red Sea Daedalus

These silk sharks circulated around our boat at Daedalus reef 3 days long 24 hours. So it was not difficult to have a shark encounter. At peak times there were 5 silkies. In opposite to longimani they came from every direction and very close, too.
